Marc Schenker is a California native who lives in Northern California and Tepoztlan, Mexico. He is a lifelong photographer and his photography has focused on global travel with a particular attention to people of the world. His photographic exhibits have included images of Cuba, Argentina, and people of the Ganges as well as farmworkers around the world. In the past decade he has directed more of his camera focus on Mexico. This effort was brought together in 2013 in an exhibit at the Mexican Consulate in Sacramento entitled Magical Mexico/ México Mágico. The accompanying book, Magical Mexico: People, Tradition and Color, brings together photographs of people from multiple regions in Mexico.
