About the Ebook
I have been fortunate enough to explore some amazing places over the past decade. The diversity this planet has to offer in terms of its cultures, landscapes, seascapes, architecture, and creatures continues to provide me with an endless selection from which to photograph. It’s because of this and the advances in digital photography that my passion for this creative art continues to grow.
The images in this book were captured throughout the Caribbean, Italy, Malta, Sicily, Holland, Belgium, South America, French Polynesia, Australia, New Zealand and North America. As enjoyable as travel and photography are, capturing the image is only the beginning of the creative process. Returning to the studio and transforming those images into photographic artwork is just as exciting, if not more so.
I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my eyes. Enjoy!

About the Creator
Doug is a self-taught photographer with over 25 years behind the lens. His modern style turns architectural lines, cityscapes, and natural scenes into striking visual statements, crafted to enhance both residential and commercial spaces. Based in Atlanta and originally from Kansas City, he works closely with interior designers to create custom visual narratives. Notable projects include 50 canvas prints for a Midtown condo, a back-lit acrylic installation in private elevators, and curated work for the Commerce Club. His photography has been featured in the Bank of America Plaza lobby and earned the Vincent Versace Award for Photographic Excellence. Doug’s work ranges from abstract to black and white to expansive landscapes, each piece designed to evoke mood and meaning. His goal: to create art that doesn’t just hang on a wall, but brings the space to life!
