About the Book
This publication is part of the BookSpaces Project—a comprehensive photographic investigation into libraries and other environments dedicated to the collection, organization, preservation, and use of printed works. Books, together with the spaces specifically designed to house them, represent distinct architectural forms, facilities, and artifacts, each bearing stories of intellectual and societal importance. The BookSpaces Project seeks to systematically document and illuminate these narratives.
