Paul Rowland is an English artist, designer, photographer, writer with a passion for history and archaeology since childhood. He has carried out research for three episodes of the BBC's award winning TV programme, 'Who Do You Think You Are? for Alistair McGowan, Rupert Penry Jones and Billy Connolly - you will see his name mentioned in the end credits of those episodes. He's also appeared on another BBC TV programme, Series 2 episode 4 of 'Lost and Found in the Lakes' as an expert history researcher. His painting of the WW2 American Bomber 'Mi Amigo' that crashed in Sheffield in 1944 is displayed next to the memorial to the crew who perished in the crash in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield. His aviation paintings have been displayed in the Mall Galleries in London and elsewhere. He has written commissioned articles in numerous genealogical and history magazines over the years. He lives in Sheffield with his wife and two daughters.
