While starting out in her freelance photography career, Ms. Ramsay assisted other photographers in a variety of assignments; fashion week, magazine articles, website promotion, marketing and advertising jobs. Eventually, Ms. Ramsay moved into the lead photographer role, creating photography images for a variety of clients. Ms.Ramsay has also taught all levels of photography, lighting, alternative processes, and darkroom techniques at the International Center of Photography, NYC DPW and at the Educational Art Alliance. Lisa Ramsay is an exhibiting artist and currently focuses on her commercial photography work.
My photographs are fashioned with the purpose of evoking identity to these visions, illuminating and exalting the subject and communicating consciousness while inciting thought. I hope to achieve more creative work that pushes my boundaries, stronger bonds with my peers and be able to travel to do my photography work.
