From stomping around the mossy tundra in Nuuk, Greenland as a three-year-old to trekking up the dusty hills of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco at twelve, I have learned to love the diverse geography of this world. I love the crumble of craggy cliffs under my fingers as I scramble upwards and the squish of mossy green volcanic valleys as I wander—and I want to contribute to conserving these wildly exciting natural resources that even as a young person, I can see are changing. I commit to donating 100% of the proceeds from the sales of Big Sky towards Coffee for Clean Water, a non-profit I started with LifeSong for Orphans designed to bring clean water to students throughout Africa.
