Trokon is a Liberian-American immigrant and former Ghanaian refugee whose life and art are rooted in resilience. After losing his mother as a teenager and growing up in foster care, he found purpose in the performing arts. A lyricist, vocalist, writer, and actor, Trokon has a strong theatre background with performances in productions including A Christmas Carol, The Miracle Worker, Much Ado About Nothing, All Shook Up, Little Shop of Horrors, and Book of Days. An avid theatre lover, he has also seen Broadway productions such as West Side Story, Hair, Chicago, and Billy Elliot.
