    About the Book

    Edit

Author James Burton has woven the entire life span of a young Canadian Wartime Bomber Pilot, into a wonderfully evocative story which reaches through his wartime exploits and with poignant realism gives us an anecdotal fictional account in the form of a vivid detailed biography which underlines the tribulations he encounters while he continues with his Air Force career and attempts to keep a relationship with his daughter after the death of his beloved wife, "Nadine".

The years following his repatriation to England at the end of the war and his resolve to stay within travelling distance of his daughter, the young "Nadine", makes for fascinating reading. The second part of the book, intertwines the young Nadine's life with that of her father as through the years, they both make decisions which affect the other. It is the defiant passion of this young lady as she travels through her life to fulfil a magnificent ambition to help those who were inflicted with the same deformity which affected her mother and herself which creates a powerful and deeply moving story.

It is an account to delight all readers.
