Inaugurated in Spring of 2018, WINDOW DRESSING is an annual cycle of short-term installations in the window vitrine on the exterior of the Cerritos College Fine Arts Building. Individual installations now run for two weeks only, with an opening reception every other Monday evening during the Spring semester.

With such short runtimes, documentation of these installations has become an integral component of the process and this catalog is the result of that detailed recording. Of course, as public art installations, these works are, first and foremost, meant to be experienced directly, so that visitors can engage with the installations through movement and duration, as much as through sight.
