I can't tell you why I find certain Christmas light displays so poignant and humble and meaningful but I do. I have been drawn back over and over again to the same neighbourhoods to observe and explore the Season of Light. A few weeks before Christmas, a week or so after New Years and the season has ended for another year. Traipsing around at night on cold winter sidewalks, usually deserted,I have enjoyed exploring and being a solitary observer of these little gems that are so generously shared.
