About the Book
There was no-one like Chinky in 1890s Liverpool. A half-oriental street child brought up by her uncle in the squalor of the town’s worst slum district, she survived on her wits through begging and crime. As dirt-poor as her life had been, she was happy with it; but as her uncle’s past catches up with him, everything is about to change.
