    About the Book

    Edit

A ten day trek through the Andes Mountains of Peru to the lost city of the Incas - Machu Picchu.

An amazing photographic record of a group of Cornishfolk who, to raise funds for their local hospice, take on a sponsored trek which leads them to topographic, physical and emotional heights that they had never imagined.

Jacqui uses her camera, not as a trained photographer, but as a seasoned traveller, depicting the very flavour of this colourful South American country.

    Over 300 full colour photographs

Having only travelled as far as Europe in earlier days, the world suddenly beckoned. After a honeymoon in Thailand, the travel-bug bit and now they are trying to make up for lost time. Having been caught up in the Asian tsunami of 2004, the next two years holidays were spent working as volunteers for a month at a time, back in Thailand.
