    About the Book

Before "Nick" was verbal, he took pictures. We were amazed the BRILLIANT shots he came up with - and what an incredibly clear glimpse it was into his world. You could see how his ideas would form by looking at the sequence of photos before settling on one that was exactly what he wanted. His verbal skills at expressing himself were almost non-existent, but that Kodak camera and Nick had an incredible mind-meld.

WE still cannot figure out how he did some of the shots - others were a study in finding art or the expression of an idea using ordinary objects in a completely different way.

I followed Nick back up the stairs with this bottle and he walked into my bathroom. Nick flushed the toilet, twisted open the Pepsi and started to pour it into the water just as it was whirling down the drain.

He just sat there, looked at me and handed me the bottle to try for myself. That was the moment when I KNEW there was a whole lot more stuff going on in that head than we ever imagined. Here is a glimpse into that world...
