    About the Book

    Edit

This first volume wants to be a homage to the architects and interior designers, who have chosen Fantoni products for their projects here in the middle east, where I have been working as a commercial manager for many years.

Besides the conceptual work developed from these passionate professionals, a very important contribution has to be recognized to those who followed the installation phase - which in this part of the world always represents a critical aspect.

I have selected some of the projects, where - in my opinion - the concepts of Fantoni Natural Office are better grasped, which holds in a unique spirit the use of all the products this company produces and puts at the disposal of its customers: design furniture, demountable partitions, sound-deadening panels and thermo acoustic systems.

Each single designer has consequently been able to give his own interpretation to the entire project, taking advantage of the flexibility of the Fantoni production process, which is able to produce customized items creating a unique and refined ambience.

I would like to thank Fantoni’s family who has given me the chance of taking these challenges, travelling all around the world for the last 14 years

Photography has always accompanied me on my travels. From my very first trip in Cuba in 1986, with my father's Olympus Camera I took my first steps, in this amazing creative experience. I have not yet found my personal style in photography. What interests me being a passionate photographer, is to continue to experience that strange and magic sensation which captivates me when I arrive in a new place in which I immerse myself, almost transported by a profound desire to listen and smell what surrounds me. Faces and forms which have the capability to make me feel at times far from reality, in a sate of lightness and alienation which favours the capability to capture that very special moment in time in the photograph. Exploring details, facial expressions, architecture, render my travels even more stimulating and enjoyable. Someone said that the people are the greatest show in the world and you don't have to buy a ticket !!
