Dina Zaphiris is the co-host/ expert trainer of Animal Planet's series, PetFinder, where she finds the right homes for shelter animals. She has run her own dog training business in Los Angeles for over a decade, schooling the dogs of Al Pacino, Bruce Willis, Nicolas Cage, Barry Manilow, Sylvester Stallone and Tony Scott, just to name a few. She's the current training director of Hemopet, one of the largest greyhound rescue organizations, and she also does Search and Rescue, agility, and competitive obedience with her dogs. She is on the board of directors of Wallis Annenberg's Companion Animal Center in Palos Verdes, California, and she was also a handler and is the spokes person for Pine Street Clinic's innovative research study on cancer detection dogs.
