Envisioning future land uses for oil refinery sites can support healthy and equitable communities. This booklet is meant to serve as a record of where we stand now with oil refinery sites in Los Angeles and what we imaged as possible solutions in the future. The goal is to position this booklet as a visioning document that can be shared with all stakeholders when the need arises for redevelopment. Part I of the work envisioned future land uses of decommissioned refinery sites that culminated in a combined master plan and Part II envisioned how to connect this master plan to the existing communities with urban design strategizes and architectural design solutions.
