Eight months at a meditative retreat center - and her inevitable attempt at re-entering society - became the inspiration for The Ojai Poems: Journey of a Spiritual Nomad, a nine-part, hand-made chapbook series by artist Eden Orlando. Eden began chronicling her spiritual awakening after college in poetry, documenting her observations about the land, people, and initiation experiences - ultimately leading to brave choices around independence, survival, and adventure.
