About the Book
Step inside a world of glowing hearths, weathered beams, and timeless beauty. The Autumn Home gathers together richly photographed tours of early American houses—both my own 1780s homestead and the homes of dear friends you’ve met on the Early American Living channel. Each room is dressed in its autumn best: branches of bittersweet, pumpkin-strewn porches, candlelit tables, and the quiet simplicity of primitive style.
This book is more than a gallery—it is a celebration of women who live with history every day, creating homes that are warm, welcoming, and deeply personal.
Nestled among the photographs, you’ll also find a Bellewood story: a touch of romance and imagination from the fictional village that has captured so many hearts. Together, the images and words create an experience that is at once visual, historical, and deeply atmospheric.
Whether you are decorating your own rooms, dreaming of primitive style, or simply craving the comfort of autumn, The Autumn Home is an invitation to slow down, linger, and find inspiration in the beauty of the season.
