About the Book
There’s a region in Australia’s far northwest that has some pretty rugged scenery and some interesting history. It’s called the Kimberley, simply because some surveyor thought in 1879 it might be nice to name it after the first Earl of Kimberley. Whyever not?
To see its best bits you need a pretty decent four-wheel drive vehicle with good clearance, as many of the roads are pretty awful, especially at creek and river crossings. Good dust sealing is very important too.
