Pamela Asai is a visual artist and poet. She exhibits regularly and has published three books of poetry with Blurb - Ash (2018), Uneven Verse (2022), and Blizzard Warning (2025). Asai is inspired by the natural world and the seasons, by Buddhism, and by the poetry and beauty found in ordinary daily life. Her work is quiet, meditative and timeless, while being grounded in the details of the here and now. Her poetry encourages the reader to slow down, breath, listen, notice, and be grateful for small things.
