About the Creator
Throughout my extensive photography career, spanning over 50 years, I have captured images using various mediums. I started by shooting black and white film in 1973, honing my skills and artistic vision. As technology advanced, I transitioned to color film and slides, exploring the vibrant world of and added color photography 1976 and added Digital in 2003. Each format presented unique challenges and rewards, shaping my understanding of light, composition, and storytelling. The immediacy of digital offered new freedoms, yet the tangible quality of film remains deeply ingrained in my creative process. Ultimately, the journey has been about capturing the essence of a moment, irrespective of the technology employed. The grainy 35mm, sharp Rolleiflex, and oddly proportioned Alpin cameras I held a unique charm, a fingerprint of their time and their tools. I learned as much from their limitations as their strengths, each a lesson etched in silver print very texture of time.
