About the Book
Mother Decay is the goddess of rot and rust. She specifically targets manmade objects with her destruction.
In this book Mother Decay is portrayed in photographs by Julie Loen, with Ingvild Eiring in the starring role as the goddess. She lurks in the woods and lounges in the studio, wearing a long, blonde wig and nothing more.
The images are primarily shot on Polaroid and wetplate collodion, that perfectly conveys the eerie atmosphere of a goddess of destruction.

About the Creator

Hi! I’m Julie. I’m a train conductor (yes, with a flag and whistle) with several creative outlets. I have a craft’s certificate in photography and a bachelor’s degree in literature. I enjoy taking pictures, writing books and making dioramas. The pictures are often old school (wetplate collodion and polaroid), the books are mostly western and the dioramas are always haunted.
