About the Creator
Born and educated in Abruzzo, first at art school and then at the Faculty of Architecture in Pescara, she is influenced by local experiences, in the fusion of ethnic spirit and contemporary language. The anthropised space together with the natural environment are present in both her photographic and pictorial work, in a continuous search for the Genius loci. Exalting the material, expressed through the representation of stone, metals, resins and water, they contaminate the supports, from paper to metal, from canvas to synthetic resins, in which painting or drawing find themselves in dialogue, sometimes clashing with dissonant material elements as if they were sculptures. He often uses clouds as references to Aristophanes, which “lift the mind and thoughts upwards, mixing them with the air and thus making great discoveries”. In the 15th edition of the Arte Laguna Prize, he received the Business for Art award.
