About the Book
The images in this book were captured over a ten-year period and represent some of my best work to date. No species is featured more than once, so this is not a traditional "best of" collection. Instead, it showcases a selection of a hundred different species that I have been fortunate enough to photograph in their natural African habitats. Alongside the images, I have included conservation updates for each species to provide insights into the realities on the ground at the time of publication. I hope these special moments resonate with you and inspire you to take action to ensure the survival of these species.
From the rainforests of Rwanda and Madagascar, to the grasslands and semi-deserts of Kenya, to the diverse landscapes of South Africa, to the waters of Botswana’s Chobe River and Okavango Delta and beyond, join me on a journey across the African continent. The incredible sights and sounds of this extraordinary place are, quite simply, Too Precious to Lose.
