Ever since I was little I loved drawing, and I often got in trouble at school for doodling on my tests and assignments (sorry Mrs. Bahm!). My creative career began by painting commissioned art from home. That adventure led me to learning graphic design and creating digital art. Then I had kids and started reading to them and discovered my passion for children's books. After illustrating books just for them I now use my skills as a designer, illustrator and mother to create books available for anyone, hooray! Reading is one of the most important things a parent can do with their child. I want to make it fun for kids and their grownups! While reading to my own children, I noticed that kids could learn important lessons through silly and colorful picture books. It’s been my goal to illustrate inspiring stories of discovery and imagination ever since.
