    About the Book

make Year 2098. Earth had long given up on Eden-3. The colony, once humanity’s greatest hope for interstellar expansion, had gone silent decades ago. No distress calls, no warning, just a void where a thriving settlement once stood. Most believed it had fallen victim to mechanical failure or cosmic disaster, another failed outpost in the dark abyss of space. But then, the signal came. A deep-space listening station intercepted a transmission—fragmented, barely intelligible, but laced with unmistakable terror. “They are not what we thought. Do not send help. If you hear this, run.” A static-choked whisper followed, words dripping with finality: “There’s still hope.” Then, silence. Earth had no choice but to respond. Dr. Elise Carter never expected to be dragged back into the fold. Once a respected xenobiologist, she had been cast aside, ridiculed for her radical theories on alien evolution. Yet, when the call came, when the men in black suits showed up at her doorstep, she knew they weren’t asking.

She was going to Eden-3. Alongside her, Captain Dorian Hale, a war veteran with eyes that carried the weight of forgotten battlefields, was assigned to lead the mission. Marco Reyes, an ex-soldier with personal ghosts to bury, was brought in as security. Cassian Rook, a hacker and known smuggler, found himself blackmailed into joining. And then there was Eve, the AI governing their ship, the Helios—watching, calculating, and keeping secrets of her own. Tension clawed at the air as they drifted through the void. Elise and Dorian clashed over the mission’s purpose—science versus survival. Cassian, ever the opportunist, dug through classified files, uncovering hints that Earth had always suspected something was wrong with Eden-3. Meanwhile, Reyes drilled them for the inevitable confrontation with the unknown.

Mr. Dustin, a father of four, writer, educator, and community-builder, is turning passion into action. His mission: build 5,000 affordable homes over 25 years using prefab homes costing $30,000–$40,000 each, including land and community spaces—requiring $180–$220 million. A portion of every book sold funds these homes. Now he asks—will you help? Sponsor a home, invest in long-term growth, share resources or expertise, or spread this vision. This isn’t charity—it’s a shared opportunity to create lasting communities. If Dustin is building, will you build with him? I’m using my skills to help end poverty and homelessness. Together we can take real action instead of just complaining. I have ideas and drive—what can you contribute to make a true difference?
