    About the Book

Through a chance meeting, the Soldier is introduced to the lonely Goddess, tasked with creating her perfect masterpiece—a flower approved by the gods themselves. As the two grow closer, the Goddess creates the rose, inspired by her feelings for the Soldier. But where do the rose’s thorns come from?

This tragic tale explores the relationship between humanity and nature, and how one can destroy the other. It advocates for care and appreciation of what we have, in relationships and nature; we never know when they could disappear.
