    About the Book

    Edit

Walter Raleigh tried to become the richest man in the Western world by finding El Dorado. He went on two expeditions to Guiana. He returned from his ill-fated second expedition without any gold.
In 2025, Clara and Dmitri, the bears, were asked by Presley the cat to find out if there was any truth in the legend that Raleigh took with him three wooden boxes covered in hieroglyphs on his second expedition, to help him discover El Dorado. And if it was true, their mission was to find the boxes.
They go on a quest across space and time. Will they find the boxes before The Amazon sails in 1872?
This story is a prequel to Bears VII: The Amazon. It covers the period from summer 1597, when Bears VI: They finished, to October 1872, when The Amazon started.
