About the Book
"MoonWishers' Magic" is a whimsical parade of photographs of dogs, led by "Beau," dressed in their very best Halloween costumes. It is replete with quotations of merit and insight into the frivolity of Halloween. However, Halloween is grounded in a complete and complex history, going back in time through cultures, ranging from the religious to the early pagan ~ quite the fascinating study of a contemporary holiday. Its roots date back to Halloween’s origins to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago, mostly in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France.
