Wake is a collection of poems written in the early mornings of 2020 and paintings made in 2021. The poems, written by Kate Kettelkamp are translated into paintings by Meg Kettelkamp. The paintings are an emotive, meditative, and spontaneous response to Kate’s words. Although there is very little written text in the artwork, the feelings of the poems are reflected in the energy and visuals of the works.
