    This is a book of simple words sketches, essays. The essays telling about serious things, about the presence of other worlds in our lives and the importance of love, about the quiet steps of the rain in the old city and the roads leading to the sea. The book about loneliness and overcoming it through the path to yourself. Probably, the book is not for many readers, but there are people who need it as much as the calm music of the rain behind the window.

    Ekaterina Yakovina

    Born in Vinnitsia, Ukraine, in 1967, Ekaterina Yakovina graduated from Saint Petersburg State University. Her stories and poems have appeared in various publications, including The World Healing Book (ISBN: 9789979953111), which also featured the 14th Dalai Lama, and the anthology Poetic Voices Without Borders 2 ( ISBN: ‎ 9781928589433 ), a 2009 National Best Book Award winner in the USA.  A several of her books, that are available in Russian and some in other languages, are found in several libraries across the United States, including the Los Angeles Public Library and the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore. The Book Prozrachniy Mir (ISBN13: 9780368811647) (Прозрачный Мир) is added to LIBRIS library catalogue in Sweden. The book "Cherez goroda k sebe" (ISBN 9781034624134) is added to the E-KATALOOG ESTER of the Tallinn Central Library, Estonia.
