I spent forty years as a Spanish teacher and also was an AP Spanish reader, table leader and consultant for the College Board. I studied at the Universidad de Madrid as an undergrad, and have been fortunate enough to return frequently over the last fifty years to travel, study and visit friends. In the last five years, my wife, Terri, and I have walked parts of the Camino Francés and the Ruta Mozárabe, becoming certified peregrinos in the process and in 2020 we'll tackle the Camino del Norte. She is also a retired Spanish teacher. We actually worked together in the same building for thirty years ... and our basic means of communication is usually Spanish. ¡Qué viva España!
