This second edition of the Journal of Madame Callegari contains new details of Marie Callegari’s life that have come to light since publication of the first edition in 2015. In addition, numerous aspects of Marie Callegari’s life and activities have been revised and expanded to provide a more nuanced account of those activities, and the historical and geographical contexts in which they occurred.
