In addition to writing for multiple publications, her images have won awards in several categories, including nature, portrait and artistic renderings. Since 2012, Carol Sheppard has also been selling her macro, landscape, and wildlife images and photography-based notecards. She has served as President of her local photography club in addition to active participation in multiple clubs and mentorship of aspiring photographers.
