This selection by Jon’s own work from fifty years represents a unique eye of a dedicated image-maker, alerted by a strong sense of irony. As he has been a resident of Australia for most of his life his sharp and unpretentious eye towards the contradictions of a national culture still coming to terms with its own collective cognitive behaviour, intellect and sensitivity or lack of but ultimately conveys humour and love which makes the body of work truly one of a kind.
