WARNING: Frontal Male Nudity! The idea for this book was birthed when I was riding my bike around Palm Springs in March, 2020. I was snapping images of the town, which was basically abandoned at the time. The "Stay at Home" orders had recently been implemented. Those images eventually became the book: "PALM SPRINGS: The Time We All Stayed Home".

As is the case with most of my projects, an idea is originally formed and then it takes on a life of it's own as the idea continues to formulate in my head. I thought "Why not go around and take some images of men at their front doors, wearing nothing but their COVID -19 masks? I recruited the first few models and then it seemed to take off.

It turned out to be a very fun project as the men embraced the idea and they then encouraged many of their friends to participate. As is often the case in my photography projects, many times men want to do a nude shoot, but they're scared to do one. This was a nice compromise for some, since their faces aren't being fully shown.

I salute all of the brave souls who have bared all to make this book possible. I'm forever in your gratitude.
