    About the Book

    Edit

Almost three decades after a near-death experience at Bleu's Lake, college professor and acclaimed horror novelist, Neil Reddy, is approached by a stalker at a book signing. After their brief encounter, Neil starts to dredge up the moments surrounding the incident when he fell through the frozen lake and nearly drowned at the age of twelve.

The following day, Neil visits his disabled brother, Ajay, who has a new nurse's aide, Kamaria Solarin. Immediately after their initial introduction, Neil is concerned that the new aide is unfit for the job based on, not only his intuition, but also the mysterious mark on the back of her neck. Neil decides to research the strange mark and discovers similarities dating back to an ancient cult known as the "Patver."

In the days ahead, as Neil confronts the tragic memories that he has been carrying for years, more bizarre events unfold; and both the stalker, as well as Kamaria, play key roles behind the madness. Unaware of their sinister motives, Neil suddenly finds himself caught up in a deadly game that's been going on ever since the beginning of time.

Moves in the Dark is the second part of the second volume, Wrapped in Darkness. Packed with mystery and mythology, Moves in the Dark is an unsettling tale that exploits the measures one man will take in order to uncover the truth.
