The Peregrine Muse.
by Daniel B. Rodriguez
About the Book
An old man who finds himself surrounded by solitude. A boy who befriends an angel in the snow. A young man who outgrows to grow up. A young woman who breathes the flavors of the earth. A pair of lovers who are trapped in a loveless time. A compendium of poems sculpted by the trials of life. A book ignited by the chaos of living. A muse ever-changing, captured by the pen.
Daniel Rodriguez is a perpetual optimist, almost to a fault. He has been writing for as long as he can remember, and even farther back than that. His stories and his poems are fueled by a fascination with the human condition, as well as the flaws that give the world its character. The themes that he chooses to tackle are not always easy to swallow, but they are relentlessly real. Undoubtedly, his Hispanic upbringing illuminated his childhood with the flavor of culture and the art of storytelling, thus kindling his undying passion for both people and communication. He has a deep love for finding uncommon hues to color ordinary days, and these works are a testament to that dedication to the unconventional.
